It’s time to highlight another one of our outstanding PPS employees! This week, we are spotlighting Charicka Rogers from the Purchasing Department at our Columbia, South Carolina, location!
In a few sentences, tell me a little bit about yourself.
My name is Charicka, and I have been at PPS since 2022. I have a 12-year-old daughter and 2 dogs.
What roles have you been in, and what is your current role today?
I started out as a runner, then moved to inventory. I am currently the purchaser here in Columbia.
What is your favorite thing about working for PPS?
I love that it’s a family-oriented company.
What are your hobbies/interests – what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to play basketball, and I currently coach a boy’s high school team here in Columbia.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?
Time travel.
What’s the best advice you could give to a new hire in the company?
If you don’t know, ask questions.
What is your favorite saying or quote?
Hard work beats talent when talent isn’t working hard!
What is your number one bucket list item?
Traveling to Bali.
