As we welcome 2025, it’s time to recognize another one of our incredible employees in our Employee Spotlight segment.

To kick off the new year, our spotlight this week is on… Sheri Breed!

In a few sentences, tell us a little bit about yourself.

I was born in Canada and have lived in Germany as well. In the past, I owned a bed and breakfast, was a radio DJ, and was a tour guide, and I took people around central California (not all at once)! I have been in Idaho since 2009 and have one daughter, 4 grandchildren and a cool red truck.

What roles have you been in, and what is your current role today?

I started out in the Quality Department as a Quality Control Specialist. I am now the Training Administrator, still with the Quality Department. I also do the monthly newsletter and audit our departments.

What is your favorite thing about working for PPS?

I worked from home for 5 years before PPS, and I can’t get over how great it is to work with people again. I like being able to see everyone every day and build friendships. I like my position here and love helping our employees learn through our training portal.

What are your hobbies/interests – what do you like to do in your spare time?

I have been learning about wood refinishing. I just painted the interior doors in my house and some end tables. Next are kitchen cabinets!

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

Probably be able to teleport so I can travel to other countries on the weekend. That and invisibility, that would be interesting…haha!

What’s the best advice you could give to a new hire in the company?

Keep up a thirst for knowledge, learn as much as possible, ask questions and keep a good attitude!

What is your favorite saying or quote?

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford

What is your number one bucket list item?

I honestly don’t have one anymore. I was able to spend 2 weeks in Italy this summer, now time to come up with something else for the list!

Sheri, thank you so much for sharing with us and thank you for all you do for PPS!
